StayBlackpool (formerly Blackpool Hotel & Guest House Association) is the largest association of its kind in the UK, if not Europe. StayBlackpool represents about a third of the hotels in the town ranging from 6 or 7 bedroomed guest houses to the large 4 star hotels. Blackpool Hotel and Guest House Association (BHGHA) was first formed in the late 1890s and became a Company Limited by Guarantee in 1947. Its office is situated in the heart of Blackpool and is here to help you have a great holiday or short break on the Fylde Coast.

We have been at the fore front in Blackpool's drive to raise the quality of accommodation in the town, so that you, the visitor, can book with confidence.

In 2000 the Association played a pivotal role in the initiation of the concept of a grading scheme for Blackpool hotels and guest houses. The Quality scheme is called Quality and is part of the National Stepping Stone initiative launched with the English Tourism Council and Blackpool Borough Council. It recognises the quality and comfort in hotels in Blackpool and the investment made by proprietors to embrace quality.

The StayBlackpool website offers you the opportunity to browse many of our member hotels, guest houses and self catering apartments through the navigation on the left, or if you know exactly what you want and where you want to stay you can use the search to narrow your choice. The interactive map allows those less familiar with Blackpool the opportunity to scroll down the promenade from North to South stopping off to view Blackpool accommodation and Blackpool attractions on the way.
