StayBlackpol operates an Inspected Only policy to its members' properties. This gives you the confidence to book in any of the hotels advertised on our site and be assured of clean,  pleasant and comfortable accommodation. Listed below are the recognised quality standards. StayBlackpool's minimum standards equate to the Quality level.

VISITBRITAIN & AA

All full participants in the AA-recognised accommodation schemes have been assessed under quality standards agreed between the AA and VisitBritian. Each hotel or B&B is given a classification that is based on an overnight (mystery guest) visit by one of our own highly qualified inspectors.

We have also recently introduced a new category, AA Associate recognition for hotels and B&Bs, and these are selected on the basis that they are quality inspected and graded by a recognised national inspection body.

So whether you choose to stay in a country farmhouse or a luxury five-star hotel, you can be sure of its quality and service.

LOCAL QUALITY SCHEME

QUALITY is a local initiative (which has replaced the HOAST scheme). It is part of the VisitBritain START scheme, providing a structured and planned transition to the National Quality Assurance Standards.

Properties displaying the Quality sign are visited and assessed by local assessors, to ensure the quality of facilities and services offered meet a required standard. Giving confidence to the visitor when choosing accommodation within Blackpool.
