Blackpool Zoo has been open for 35 years and is home to over 1500 animals from all over the world. The Zoo is based behind Stanley Park, only two miles from the sea front and is open all the year around from 10am. There is always plenty to do and see with close up animal encounters, animal feeding and displays throughout the day and meet the keeper talks. It also hosts special events throughout the year with guest appearances, exhibitions and exciting animal adventures.
