Paula and Ted welcome you to the Alwoodly, a family run hotel in Blackpool town centre. All our 8 bedrooms are fully en suite. The quality of our accommodation and the emphasis on the service we provide has been rewarded by our Quality Plus accreditation. Car parking is not a problem as the large central car park is 50 metres away at the end of Hornby Road.

We are only 2 minutes from the Promenade just to the south of Blackpool Tower. The Alwoodly is in the perfect location for family holidays, dance competitors at the Tower and Winter Gardens, and conference delegates. The town centre shops, restaurants, pubs and clubs are all only a short walk from the Alwoodly.

The Pleasure Beach and Sandcastle Waterworld are a 10 minute tram ride along the promenade. You can also ride along the prom to Cleveleys and Fleetwood market. During the illuminations you can board an open top tram at the same stop to view the Golden Mile and the 5 miles of the lights.

The Alwoodly has 3 family and 5 double rooms. All have central heating, double glazing, TV and complimentary tea/coffee facilities. Towels are also provided.

We provide excellent home cooking. Our plentiful full English breakfast will satisfy even the biggest appetite and we offer a 3 course evening meal. We have a choice of beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks in our bar lounge. In the summer months you can also sit out in our South facing patio.

We are open all year (except for Christmas), but including the New Year festivities. Special mid-week deals and off-season week-end breaks are available.
