The concept for the Number One evolved out of a desire by the owners, Mark and Claire Smith, to change the traditional perception of Blackpool accommodation by providing a haven of style and comfort, with in-room facilities to rival the best boutique hotels in the country. You can now enjoy the ultimate bed and breakfast experience in elegantly appointed rooms, sumptuous beds, luxurious en-suite bathrooms with jacuzzi baths in elegant contemporary surroundings.

The Number One is a handsome, period home, standing in its own gardens with ample private parking. Much care has been expended on the design, layout and furnishing of every room to give each room its own unique ambience and provide a welcoming and relaxed environment. All three guest rooms include: king-size bed with Eygptian cotton bed linen and Siberian goose pillows, 42inch plasma TV, DVD recorder, CD player, Sony Playstation 2, remote lighting systems and bathrooms with LCD TV and piped music.

Guests have the choice of a continental breakfast with a selection of fruit and pastries in their own rooms or a full three-course English breakfast in the dining room, which overlooks the putting lawn.
