World Hotel

We would like to welcome you to the hotel with a world of difference!

We took over this Blackpool family hotel (formerly known as Malvern House Hotel) having worked on the QE2 cruise liner for many years. We are creating a unique ambience in every room to reflect the different cultures the world over - a world cruise in one hotel.

The World Hotel offers first class accommodation and cuisine with the level of service one would expect from Cunard. The Hotel is located in a prime position 2 minutes from the Promenade close to the North Pier and 5 minutes from Blackpool Town Centre. Limited car parking is available at the rear of the hotel, and we will assist you with parking in the town centre car parks.

All our 13 bedrooms are fully ensuite, with double glazing, colour TV and complimentary tea/coffee facilities. We have a selection of family, double and twin rooms and if you book early you can choose your theme. Some bedrooms are designated non-smoking.

We serve a full English breakfast cooked to order, and we offer a choice of evening meals. We cater for special dietary needs but please advise us of your requirements in advance.

For relaxation you can choose our Pig & Whistle bar, our modern bistro or the patio. We carry a range of draft beers, spirits, wines and mixer drinks.

We welcome to our Blackpool accommodation families with children of all ages, couples, senior citizens, conference delegates and the business traveller. High speed communications facilities are available. Mixed groups up to 24 are welcome, by prior arrangement only. We are also in the ideal location for artistes performing at the Grand Theatre, Winter Gardens and the Tower.

We are open all year, so enquire for details of special offers for Christmas and New Year breaks. Contractors welcome during the Winter, please enquire for special rates. One night bookings taken subject to availablility. Credit cards are accepted.
