Blue Danube

Welcome to the Blue Danube, my NON-SMOKING hotel in the south shore of Blackpool, 100 metres from the promenade opposite the South Pier and Sandcastle Waterworld and only 5 minutes from the Pleasure Beach.

All the South Shore amenities - the rides and the Laughing Donkey on the South Pier, the donkey rides and slides on our golden sands, the shops, markets, cafes, pubs and clubs are close-by. Blackpool Tower, Winter Gardens, Sealife Centre and all the town attractions by day and night, are a stroll along the prom or a ride on one of Blackpools heritage trams.

And of course, the world famous Blackpool illuminations with its Golden Mile are at the end of Station Road. The largest public car park in Blackpool is at the other end of station road.

The Blue Danube has 6 en-suite bedrooms, including 5 very large family rooms. We also have 1 double en suite, plus 1 family and 1 double standard rooms. All bedrooms are non-smoking, tastefully decorated and are kept spotlessly clean. All have colour TV and complimentary tea/coffee facilities.

You have the choice of a full English breakfast, or lighter alternatives for those who count the calories, which are served in the intimate dining room. For the evenings, the Blue Danube has a very comfortable licensed bar/lounge with a wide range of drinks on offer.

All our welcome - families with children of all ages, couples and senior citizens. Party bookings up to 27 are accepted by prior arrangement. One night stays are accepted subject to availablity. Join us for our house parties over the Christmas/New Year festive periods.
