Tuxford House

A very warm welcome awaits you from Lorna and Clive at Tuxford House. We owned and managed this family run hotel and we look forward to welcoming guests old and new. We are only 100 metres from the promenade, with 7 free car parking spaces on the Hotel forecourt.

Tuxford House is only a few minutes walk from Blackpools south shore for the Pleasure Beach, Sandcastle Waterworld (which has the longest water flume in Europe), and the rides and Laughing Donkey bar on the South Pier. Blackpool Tower, Central Pier, Winter Garden, Grand Theatre and all the town centre attractions are a short walk in the opposite direction.

The illuminations are at the end of Alexandra Road, so you can either stroll the Golden Mile or ride on a vintage tram through the 5 miles of the lights.

We welcome families with children of all ages, couples, senior citizens, conference delegates and contractors.

Our hotel has 9 bedrooms: a 2 bedroom family en suite comprising a double room and a annex with 2 singles, 2 en suite doubles, plus 6 standard rooms - 2 family, 3 doubles and 1 twin. All rooms are tastefully decorated with the original high coved ceilings, colour TV and complimentary tea and coffee making facilities. Our bedrooms are non-smoking and are kept to the highest levels of cleanliness every day of your stay.

Start your day with a hearty breakfast in our comfortable dining room. Meal times are flexible, including an 8.00 breakfast for conference delegates and holiday makers who want an early start to the day. Please let us know at the time of booking if you have any special dietary considerations.

Tuxford House is open all year, including the New Year festivities. One night stays are accepted subject to availability. Sorry, we do not accept single sex parties.
